History

Alberta Abilities Lodges Society and the Coyote Lake Lodge Alberta project began when Danny Wein had his trip of a lifetime cut short by a motorcycle – truck crash in Bogotá, Colombia in 1998. He was almost killed, but stabilized enough in hospital to return home to Edmonton by air ambulance. After years of recovery, and inspired by his love of the outdoors, Coyote Lake Lodge Alberta was formed in 2014 with the support of hundreds of individuals, families, and businesses.
