The Lodge is located 60 km directly west of Leduc and the Edmonton International Airport. For easiest navigation we recommend using our printable map and driving instructions (below).
Access to our wilderness lodge is by paved roads with only a hundred metres of gravel road and laneway. Rural Albertans are well prepared for year-round driving. Others should ensure that they carry safety and emergency gear. In winter, ensure that your gas tank is full at the start of the trip. For autos equipped with GPS, our address is 53°17’08” North, 114°30’29”. Our Leduc County address is 50033 Range Road 43. Enjoy the county scenery.
Driving from Edmonton
Most drivers from the south part of Edmonton will travel south on Highway 2 to Leduc and then swing west on Highway 39. They will proceed west past Calmar and then wiggle onto Highway 622 and continue west until they reach and cross Highway 770. They will then continue west on Township Road 500 until they reach Range Road 43 and our lodge sign. Other drivers from the northern part of Edmonton may drive west on Highway 16 (Yellowhead Highway) and then south on Highway 770 to St. Francis. Here they turn west for 11 km to the lodge.
Driving from Southern Alberta
From Calgary and south, drivers will probably drive north on Highway 2 to Leduc. Drivers from west of Calgary might enjoy Highway 22 (Cowboy Highway) for the beautiful drive through the Rocky Mountain foothills. When Highway 39 is reached, turn east. Some drivers might enjoy a longer trip through Banff National Park and swing east to Rocky Mountain House and then north on Highway 22. Alternatively, continue to Jasper National Park and swing east on Highway 16 (Yellowhead Highway) and then south on Highway 770 to St. Francis. Turn west for 11 km to the lodge.
Driving from the Edmonton International Airport
Lodge guests arriving at the airport will probably rent an auto or be met with friends with an auto. Leave the airport and swing south on Highway 2 for a few kilometers to Leduc. Swing west on Highway 39 and follow the instructions for the drive from Edmonton to the lodge.
