Alberta Abilities Lodges and the Coyote Lake Lodge Alberta began when Danny Wein had his trip of a lifetime cut short by a motorcycle – truck crash in Bogota, Colombia in 1998. He was almost killed, but stabilized enough in hospital to return home to Edmonton by air ambulance. After years of recovery and his love of the outdoors, Coyote Lake Lodge Alberta formed in 2015 with the support of hundreds of individuals, families, and businesses.
